Iraq: unneeded pre-emptive war?

The Iraq war, the critics... I shake my head in disbelief in the narrow mindness of so many people that criticize the case for the war itself, criticisms a lot of the times not for valid reasons but personal attacks on the administration, ignorance or just political bias, instead of valid reasons such as the bad planning of the occupation after the victory of the invasion (which is the sole reason I do criticize it). As for the WMD topic, it is STILL a question open to the final chapter of history, since there are many "things" in the background and behind the scenes that most people will not have access to for some time to come, and to judge the war solely on the validity of that part without all the facts today of what is going on or what happened is not judging it on its entirety, and as a consequence an incorrect judgment.

Here are some information that SHOULD make all stop and think before saying that there were no WMD in Iraq or that iraq has nothing to do with Alqaeda and the terrorist we are facing today....

First there is this site and this information to ponder on:

http://www.2la.org/syria/iraq-wmd.php

There are also pictures of weapons, even big fighter planes found buried in the sands, only found due to some of Saddam ex-military personnel talking... but impossible to find is no one had talked:

Mig-25 buried:

....yet here is another report of the WMDs in Syria:

Now, we NEED to remember that Iraq was the equivalent of a "delinquent on parole" (been under a cease fire agreement with the USA due to its invasion and loss after the first Gulf War in 1991), and that was it was constantly breaking his "parole requirements" (cease fire requirements) over, and over, and over..., and over...:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/htmlContent.jhtml?html=/archive/1998/12/31/wirq31.html

http://www.cnn.com/WORLD/9609/04/iraq.operation/

..just for doing that, attacking our planes, etc. (acts of war!) the US and the west could have invaded Iraq and gotten rid of Saddam once and for all, since by breaking ANY of the cease fire agreements (acts of war!) technically freed the US to continue the 1991 to its logical end... Saddam death, just like a criminal on parole goes back to jail if it break one parole requirements while out on parole!

..then there is the Saddam factor, a monster that had to go!

In this site there is plenty of evidence that not only Saddam was a monster the world needed to get rid of WMDs or no WMDs, but his support of terrorism was documented plenty!:

And here is a site that compiles lots of the media reports on Iraq and terrorism including Alqaeda:

...but never mind ALL that evidence, facts about the nature and treat of the dictator, etc etc, etc....!

....there is another part of the Iraq war that most people do not think of AT ALL....

...think of it as a look at the "Big Picture" from a moral point of view, moral point meaning a problem that if solved is in the end good for all of us on this planet!

Think of the current problems in Iraq and the Middle East as a bigger situation (scale) of the situation in the movie The Accused, the 1988 production with Kelly McGillis and Jodie Foster. Just like in that movie, the guilty parties were NOT just the violators who committed the crime directly, but ALSO the ones that instigated and set the conditions for it, like the cheering crowds at that bar in the movie, current terrorists (the "violators" in this case) that are attacking the west, democracy and the US (the victim) are fueled by outlaw regimes (the "instigators" and "cheering crowds"), like Iran, Syria, the former Iraq of dictator Saddam, who gave money to known terrorists, who gave safe heaven to know terrorists, who spoke about the destruction of the west, and who by violating countless of UN resolutions again and again and again facilitated in part the conditions in this world for 9/11 to occur directly and/or indirectly!

So, to say that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, and that all we should have done is to have concentrated on just the capture of Osama and destroy Alqaeda, and that everything else or everyone else is a separate problem, specially in the Middle East is very narrow minded and idiotic at best!

...Iraq, and Syria, and Iran, and North Korea may not have pulled the trigger themselves, sort of speak in 9/11, but, and THIS is very important, they are as guilty, and as much part of it as the fanatical terrorist of Alqaeda for all the murders and terrorism in this current terrorism war indirectly!

And just like in that movie, were Kelly McGillis goes after cheering crowds at that bar to punished them for their role in that crime, which was as BIG a contributor for that crime to occur as the rapist themselves, so should the decent nations of this world, (including the US) go after all those regimes (including Iraq) that feed and encourage hate and destruction in this world, and who have contributed to the attacks of 9/11 and many others terrorist attacks in this world. Then and only then, will this world be a world of order and peace.

Remember...

...The current terrorism did not come out of nothing people!

...it did not just "appear" out of nowhere people!

...it is the culmination of decades of repression, abuses, and animalistic behavior in parts of this world like Syria, Iran, Iraq and others, of political alliances and maneuvers by groups or governments. And ignoring all those others involvement in it, and trying to appease them will not make us any safer or will make the danger to "go way"! It won't. Appeasement will only buy you time, but in the end it will only make things worse, only look at the failed League of Nations and the dealing with Hitler by the Europeans in the late 1930's for an example on how misguide that approach is. This is the time to stand up, to fight against the forces of chaos, of horror, of violence with the extreme violence of war if we have to, since it is our very survival as a decent civilization that is at stake, to face ALL the parties involved and to make our stance, because if we do not, be prepare to pay dearly in the future, and to see worse attacks to come, not just some planes into buildings killing thousands, but perhaps nuclear weapons going off in cities killing millions!

It is your call world...your call! Do you want to keep putting band aids on problems or really fix them? ...It is your call!
